Biomimetic Dentistry Education · UK
A hands-on masterclass for dentists who are done with post-op sensitivity, bonds that let go, and doing genuinely complex work for the price of a routine filling. Learn to read, rebuild and charge for compromised teeth using predictable, evidence-based protocols, taught by a clinician with almost 20 years at the chair.
The cases that keep you up at night
The deep MOD you're not certain will hold. The cracked cusp: crown it, or watch it? The heavily restored molar sitting one repair away from a crown or an extraction. The composite that comes back sensitive. And the quiet frustration of doing careful, difficult work, then billing it like a five-minute filling.
Conventional technique leaves too much of that to chance. It treats the symptom and hopes the bond holds. Biomimetic technique is built to rebuild the tooth the way nature engineered it, so the outcome is predictable, the failure rate drops, and the work commands what it's actually worth.
This course is how you make that shift, in a single day.
Why this course exists
Biomimetic principles are the future of dentistry.
This course teaches the complete clinical picture, starting with how to read a compromised tooth before you touch it, through step-by-step assessment criteria, to bonding protocols that actually hold, to managing the complex indirect cases that keep you up at night. Everything in one day, taught by someone who has spent years doing it.
It's designed for dentists who want outcomes that are highly predictable, without adding complexity or slowing down their workflow. You leave with protocols you can use the very next morning, and the confidence to take on the cases you currently refer away or watch and wait on.

BDS MSc · Senior Endodontic Officer
A qualified dentist with a special interest in endodontics and almost 20 years of clinical practice experience. Senior Endodontic Officer and Clinical Tutor for NHS Wales, he has delivered courses for dentists, therapists and nurses through the NHS Post-Graduate Deanery, and has mentored dentists for more than a decade.
His work combines endodontic expertise with biomimetic principles, preserving both the pulp and the natural tooth structure, whilst improving the predictability and longevity of restorations. The course reflects modern techniques used daily in practice, not just theory.
Trained directly under Dave Alleman (USA) and completed the mastership programme with the Alleman Research Centre. Truform was founded because the training dentists wanted didn't yet exist in the UK.

What the day covers
Everything you get
Nothing held back for an "advanced" upsell. This is the complete protocol.
The Truform commitment
Attend the full day and put the protocols to work. If a case has you stuck afterwards, that's exactly what the post-course WhatsApp support is for. Dr Khan will work through it with you until you're confident applying the technique in your own surgery. This is CPD with a clinical outcome, not a certificate you file and forget.
The part your accountant will care about
Where the difference shows up: in the fee you can charge, and in what happens to the tooth afterwards.
| Treatment type | Typical UK private fee | Post-op complications | Longevity | Bond durability | Bacterial microleakage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Conventional composite / filling | £150 to £250 | More common | Less predictable | Lower | Higher risk |
| Biomimetic restoration | £450 to £1,200 | Less common | More predictable | Higher | Lower risk |
Two or three cases and the course has paid for itself. Every case after that, for the rest of your career, is upside, with fewer redos and fewer patients back in the chair in pain.
Fee ranges reflect typical UK private pricing and will vary by practice, region and case. Outcome comparisons are directional and grounded in the biomimetic evidence base covered on the day; they are not a guarantee of results in any individual case.
The investment
Each venue is deliberately capped. The hands-on practicals are limited by bench space, so places are genuinely finite per date.
Course fee
Maximum 12 delegates per class.
Open to dentists and therapists (full day).
Before you book
Yes. The day carries 8 hours of verifiable CPD and you receive a certificate for your records.
Both, but the emphasis is hands-on. There are two live practicals: restorative assessment and full reconstruction of a broken-down tooth. You'll be asked to bring two extracted teeth for each.
No. The protocols are designed to slot into your existing workflow, not add complexity. A dedicated part of the day covers chair-time efficiency and the consultation, so the technique works for a real practice, not just a lecture theatre.
Yes. The morning starts at foundations (Level 1) and builds deliberately to complex indirect cases (Level 2) in the afternoon, so you're never dropped in at the deep end.
No. Truform is an independent education company. There's no manufacturer funding and no product promotion. The recommendations are clinical, not commercial.
